Allergies, Aches & Pains Chiropractic & Acupuncture Center, Ltd, opened in Sycamore on July 9, 2002. Since then, we have been fortunate to accrue the staff that we now have.

Dr. Teresa K. Melton |
Dr. Teresa Melton opened Allergies, Aches & Pains Chiropractic & Acupuncture Center, Ltd. in Sycamore, on July 9, 2002. Since that time, she has grown to include Massage Therapy in the services provided. Prior to that, she practiced in Elgin for 5 years.
Dr. Melton is a 1997 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic. She is a Licensed Chiropractic Physician and Acupuncturist in the State of Illinois.
Through her post-graduate studies, Dr. Melton has further studied acupuncture and obtained a Fellowship from the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. She, additionally, has studied Chiropractic Care for Pre-natal and Pediatrics and obtained Certification from the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice and the Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics, as well as Webster Technique Certification, which is a safe means to restoring proper pelvic balance and function during pregnancy. Dr. Melton is also currently studying Complementary Alternative Medical options for children with neurodevelopmental disorders through Intersect4Kids.
Dr. Melton enjoys being able to assist people in their healing process. While she treats a multitude of health conditions ranging from headaches, pain, digestive stress, etc., she specializes in care for the entire family starting with pre-natal/pediatrics. Dr. Melton will spend the time to listen to your health concerns and formulate a pathway of care that is most suitable for your needs. She is eager to be a part of your health team providers and assist you in improving your health so that you may enjoy a better quality of life.

Dr. Melton enjoys spending time with her family (husband and 2 children, ages 5 & 7) and being outdoors. She plans to be moving to Huntley in the Summer/Fall 2011.

Amber Hopper,

Amber graduated from the Kishwaukee College Massage Therapy Program in August of 2004. She received her Certification from the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and her Illinois Massage Therapist license in 2005. Additionally, she is certified in Hot Stone Massage Therapy which she received in December 2007 and certified in Pre-natal Massage.
Amber specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Sports, Injury Rehabilitation, Pre-natal and Chair Massage. She has worked with many conditions such as fibromyalgia, frozen shoulder, sciatica, rotator cuff injuries, headaches, multiple sclerosis, pain and many more conditions.

Rachel Sarver,
Massage Therapist |
Rachel graduated from the Kishwaukee College Massage Therapy Program in December of 2005. She received Certification from the National Certification and her Illinois Massage Therapist license in April 2006.
Rachel's massage therapy techniques include deep tissue/trigger point, swedish/relaxation and hot stone massage. She has several years experience with medical massage and appreciates the ability to be able to help relieve client's pain and stress. Rachel is eager to assist you in your healing process.

Sally Riccardi lives in Sycamore with her husband, Tony. She enjoys spending her time outdoors camping, hiking, or playing games with her nephews. She also enjoys being creative whether it be painting or taking photos, just creating something.
Sally really enjoys working with the team at Allergies, Aches, and Pains. Dr. Melton has introduced her to a new, healthier way of life and it has motivated Sally to not only live that way, but also to encourage others to be healthier too. |
